About us
So who are we? We are three Norwegians, Eli Regine, Veronica and Christian who will be travelling the world for 175 days! This trip has been in the planning for about a year and after talking about the possibility of doing something like this for a while, we managed to talk ourself into it. But come on, how hard is it to convince someone to go travelling for 6 months? Vacation for 6 months! It can’t really get any better than that. For those of you who don’t know us personally here is a short summary of who we are and what we do:
Eli Regine Matvik (the one with the sari)):
I’m a 22 year old girl from Sula, a small island located outside of the beautiful jugend town Aalesund. The past 3 1/2 years I’ve been living in Trondheim. To afford this trip I actually worked in a factory packing sausages! So this is a well deserved vacation I would say. I’ve been studying in Trondheim aswell, since this is a really good student city. The subjects I’ve been digging in to is art history and latin, both very interesting for an art and language geek! Btw I’m also friendly with the computergeek.
Veronica Brandal (the Marilyn Monroe lookalike):
Hi! I’m a 22 year old girl also from Sula, not far from the town Aalesund. I’m educated as a hairdresser, which is a very cool job! I’ve had this job for 3 1/2 year before I took a leave of absense so I could travel and experience a little bit of the world:)
Christian Haugen (the one surfing!):
Ahh, 25 year old, male and desperately wanting to go surfing! Considering that its -10C and a whole lot of snow outside here in Norway travelling was the only sensible thing to do! And since there are only two guys on the picture and one of them is a garden gnome, figuring out who the computer geek is pretty obvious. If you see any posts about gadgets or gps tracking devices I’m the one to blame… I’m currently taking a gap year from studying where I have worked day and night to afford the trip and all my beloved gadgets. This trip has been in the planning since I was seven so it is about damn time!
